Awesome Greek cuisine. The owners are amazing as well. You have to try the Ekmek for dessert. Home made delight!!

Super tasty and large portions. Great family run restaurant. Would recommend the Kleftiko, Souvlaki and the Artemis Chicken.

Only been a couple times. But for good authentic greek, you can't go wrong!

First time visiting and was blown away. High quality food with impeccable service. Had the lamb shank and moussaka and both are authentic. Highly recommended.

Was pleased with this lunch time drop in , could it deceide what to have for lunch as I was not in my normal area so we popped in to this fine jem and I had a wrap it was delish and the amazing price of under 10.00 for a wrap and fries

Excellent dining experience...amazing food...reasonable prices.. excellent service! This was my first time my husband had been for lunch meetings...we will definitely be returning...the waitress was really nice and it seemed like a lovely family place also..

Warmly welcomed by our server. She was a bit eccentric but pleasant. We ordered the appetizer platter for two, Aegean lasagna, and the stuffed calamari. The only thing I didn't like was the stuffed calamari as the squid was old and rubbery. The sauce and stuffing was great, though. Very old-style traditional Greek food, the kind my yia yia would make, but in a more modern restaurant.

I have been eating here for about 10 years. The food is excellent and the service is friendly. This is my choice whenever I am in the mood for Greek food...The owners are lovely people too so get out there and enjoy this treasure of a restaurant!

The ribs we ordered were amazing and we got a lot of food for only $20. The service could have been a little better, but not terrible.

Quarantine take out? YES. Just do it. We ordered the spanakopita, hummus, Greek style ribs, lamb souvlaki, and Artemis chicken and complementary baklava! Everything was delicious and is fantastic as leftovers. The presentation was fantastic too. Support delicious Calgary restaurants. If you want Greek, this is the place to go!

Absolutely amazing Greek restaurant. Been going here for many years and have tried so many other Greek restaurants, but this one is the best by far. I would suggest something from the menu but honestly everything is so good I couldn't pick a favorite. The staff are so friendly and overall it's just a wonderful experience every visit. Definitely a go to for anyone looking for some authentic Greek food and hospitality!!

My husband and I went here lastnight to celebrate with our great friends birthday! The lamb was phenomenal! I had the Kleftiko and my hubby tried the Athenian Seafood which was awesome too! We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you love Greek food! Friendly staff and awesome chef! We’ll be back for sure!

This place is awesome. Delicious food, wonderful service and filling portions.

Very warm and cozy. The owners are very hospitable. Steak is a beautiful baseball cut. The appetizer platter was very filling. The chicken Artemis is absolutely precious. The Moussaka was very nicely prepared. My kid liked the lamb.. As long as we live in Calgary we will be coming back here. Love this place.

Have eaten here many years, excellent food in a small family ran setting. Could well be the best Caesar salad in Calgary. Try the Saganaki for a flaming ouzo and "OPA!" dressed pan of cheesy heaven

TERRIBLE. Will never return! The food was mediocre at best and the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The plate was brought to us dirty and the server wiped it off with her fingers in front of us and said “it’s fine, just some dirt” IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. That’s disgusting even in normal circumstances, let alone when we are trying not to share germs. The food was ok - nothing special and definitely not something I would recommend or rush back for.

The food here has been incredible every time I've dined in or ordered out. Highly recommend the calamari and trying the desserts! The service is very fast and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed....you will have a wonderful meal here.

I have driven past this little strip mall so many times I can't begin to quantify it. A friend told me this place was "awesome". Well I now know how right that description is. Halibut & Prawns with soup ir salad and all the trimmings for $21.99 - amazing!

I had a superb in this spot. We liked the extraordinary vibes and the meals. The staff members are very welcoming. I’m glad we finally managed to eat here.

Everything was great but the waitress was getting the alcohol drinker in our group his wine right away. She forgot about the tea and water drinks all the time.

We come to Calypso's every time we're craving Greek food, and they never disappoint. Service is warm and welcoming, atmosphere cozy, and the food is consistently great. Love the appetizer platter, includes several of their best dishes and we sometimes just have that for our entire meal. The best traditional fried calamari I've had, it's just perfect. Try the Ek mek dessert, heavenly!

The lamb chops were authentic Greek style. Price $$$. The decor plain and simple. The service : mmm just one waitresses running around to serve the 15 customers who were there. I would go back there for something else Greek.

For a nice dinner out it's superb. Owners Peter&Popei and there staff are awesome. I always look forward to my dessert Popei makes in house, Its DELICIOUS!!!!

I agree with many reviewers down here that their service is unforgettably not humble. I ordered a lasagna and the it both seemed and tasted soupy. When the server asked me how the lasagna was, I told her that lasagna was too watery. Surprisingly, her reply was, “Oh, our other customers loved our lasagna”, no apology, no explanation, no feedback from the kitchen.In return, I only gave her 18% tips. I usually give away 20% for dinners.

Calypso's is the BOMB! Their moussaka is to die for! I really did enjoy it ! All the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The Greek salade was super fresh and it was obviously made homemade and seasoned perfectly. I recommend their trio dip appetizer can get enough pita bread. The hostess was very friendly and the free peice of baklava was so delicious must appreciated!

This little family-run Greek restaurant is an oasis in a seemingly bland area for dining out. On both occasions, our party was treated with amazing service through and through. Try the slow-roasted seasoned lamb; you won't regret it! Calamari is light and delicious, the Greek style ribs are meaty and full of flavour, and the oven baked cheese with pita is a delicacy! Drinks list was more on the minimal side, with no craft beer offered and a basic wine list. Once more I need to reiterate how fantastic the servers were, a very hard thing to find nowadays! Everyone inside was having a blast. Go dine here!

What a find! Went to Calypso’s for a post UofC convocation dinner and they didn’t disappoint. Fantastic food, generous portion sizes served up by perfectly delightful staff! All for an extremely reasonable price! Calypso’s went above and beyond to make our celebration perfect! They even served a special occasion cake that we brought with us free of charge. Service was second to none! If you are looking for excellent Greek food, look no further than Calypso’s!

Absolutely delicious 55th Anniversary lunch for my parents, at Calypso on center street! So delicious!! The Saganaki is amazing!!! And their appetizer platter for two is huge!! And soooo good!!!And the final touch! A slice of Ekmek! Delicious fluffy custard on a light sponge cake bed with whipping cream, toasted almonds and cinnamon!! Soo Yummmy!!!

Excellent Greek food. Especially like the spanakopita and the chicken souvlaki. Best tzatziki in Calgary. The lasagna is also really good. Huge portions. Appreciate delivery option via Skip the Dishes. Wish they’d add desserts to delivery menu.

Went for dinner and to celebrate my daughter's Birthday, food was fantastic, service exceptional, portions large, great prices! Our server Carrie was wonderful and kind! Great overall experience!

This is Calgary's top Greek restaurant. I've had every item offered on the menu and the Moussaka is my favourite. You will not be disappointed.

This place has great food and good value for money. However, the young girl that served us co-workers had zero sense of customer service. She rushed us with the wine order, then the food order. Before we finished our appetisers the entrees were left on the table getting cold. I would never recommend this place if you are looking for good ambience.

Service was terrible for our large party. The waitress was so impatient and snappy. I believe it was only her on the floor serving, but very rude. Ruined the atmosphere of our night. We enjoyed the food but we will never be returning because of the poor service. I would never recommend this place if you are looking for good ambience.
